What to Expect in a Therapy Session

We provide compassionate, family-centered ABA with highly trained clinicians, individualized treatment plans, and transparent communication to promote independence and quality of life. Therapists work with you child to enhance their communication, social, self-help, and emotional regulation skills through engaging activities.

A Plan Tailored to Your Child

Every child is unique, and so is their path forward. Our clinicians design individualized treatment plans rooted in your child's strengths, goals, and the things that make them who they are — because the best care starts with truly knowing your child.

One-on-One Care

Your child deserves undivided attention and a therapist who shows up for them every step of the way. Our dedicated one-on-one model means your child builds a consistent, trusting relationship with their clinician — creating the safe foundation where real progress happens.

Positive Behavioral Changes

We celebrate every milestone, big and small. Through evidence-based strategies and compassionate guidance, we help your child develop the skills they need to thrive at home, at school, and in the moments that matter most.

What to Expect on Your Journey to ABA

The typical journey to an ABA therapy resource like Bright Futures Therapy begins with a diagnosis — the vital and necessary first step.

Step 1 : Get a Diagnosis

The first step toward support begins with an official ASD diagnosis from a qualified provider — such as a licensed psychologist, developmental pediatrician, or child psychiatrist. This diagnosis is the foundation for accessing the services your child deserves, and we're here to help guide you through what comes next.

Step 2 : Request an Refferal

Once your child has a diagnosis, ask their diagnosing provider or primary care physician for a referral to ABA therapy services. This simple step opens the door to a world of meaningful progress — and our team is ready to welcome your family the moment you reach out.

Step 3 : Get a Personal Assessment

Before therapy begins, your child will receive a comprehensive, individualized assessment conducted by one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This is our opportunity to truly get to know your child — their strengths, their goals, and the areas where they need the most support — so we can build a plan that's uniquely theirs.

Step 4: Work with a BCBA and RBT

Your child will work closely with a dedicated team — a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who designs and oversees their personalized treatment plan, and a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who delivers hands-on, one-on-one therapy each session. Together, they bring consistency, expertise, and genuine care to every moment of your child's day.

Step 5: Coordinate Care

We believe the best outcomes happen when everyone is working together. Our team collaborates closely with you, your child's pediatrician, school, and other providers to ensure a seamless, unified approach to care. You'll always know what's happening, why it's happening, and how your child is progressing.

Step 6: Continuous Support

Your child's journey doesn't follow a straight line — and neither does ours. We continuously monitor progress, adjust treatment goals, and celebrate every milestone along the way. Our commitment to your family goes beyond the therapy room, because lasting change is built one breakthrough at a time.
